Gift ideas!

It’s hard to believe that it is December and Christmas is just right around the corner. In case your in need of a special gift for another knitter, stop by the shop for some really great gift ideas. We’ve got lots of great knitting themed jewelry and charms as well as the new Oh Snap accessory pouches from Namaste. We also have a nice selection of Namaste bags! How about some cashmere yarn? Now that’s a nice gift As always, gift certificates make a wonderful gift and are always available.

Holiday weekend

We hope that everyone has a great 4th of July weekend and that it’s a safe one. We will be closed on Friday the 4th and Saturday the 5th to enjoy the holiday weekend too. We’ll be back on Monday!

We’re back!

We are finally back from our trip to TNNA. I don’t know about Nancy, but I am still recovering! We had a great time and learned lots. Nancy has her eye on some great new yarns that should be added to our inventory in the near future. She also ordered some great stuff that will be coming in over the next few weeks and months – new sock yarn, great new pattern lines, Lucy Neatby videos, Unicorn Fiber Wash and Rinse (I swear by this stuff), knitting jewelry and accessories (you’ll love these), and last but certainly not least, Namaste bags!!

Just a quick update

Nancy Q. and I will be leaving for Columbus, Ohio today to attend TNNA. It will be a weekend filled with previewing all the new yarns for fall and everything knitting. We’ll be taking classes while we’re there. Maybe we’ll even come back a little smarter

Spinning classes will start soon. If you aren’t on the waiting list for the class, call the shop and put your name on this list. The class will be four sessions, hopefully consecutive.  Dates will be announced soon.

Red Alert!

Hey all – just a heads up – We will not stay open until 8:00 pm this Wednesday, May 28th. We will close at 4:00 pm so we can go to the Stitch n Pitch game too. See ya there and Go Cards!

We’re on Ravelry

Ravelry is such a wonderful resource for all us knitters. We started our own group on Ravelry in November, 2007. If you haven’t joined, please do (don’t forget to join our group too)! There are so many things you can do on Ravelry, we could go on and on…… Once you’ve joined, you’ll have to learn to knit at the computer. Sorry, we don’t give a class on that!
