This coming week is Spinning and Weaving Week and we would like for you to join us on Saturday, October 11th from 11-3 for a spin in. Bring your wheel, some fiber and have fun getting together with other spinners in the area. If you have never spun and would like a mini lesson or demo, please join us. We’re always looking for new converts!

It’s been awhile since the last post so I thought I’d fill you in a little about what’s going on. We have had our biggest class of spinners to date and today will be their last official day as students.

Nancy’s granddaughter, Melissa, had her baby this week and it was a girl! Some of you may remember Melissa from when she worked at the shop.

We’ve also got new yarn arriving and we just got in two Flip Rigid Heddle looms from Schacht along with other weaving and spinning supplies. I am in the process of hand dyeing roving for the shop as well. I have a little bit to take in today and will have more next week.
